OFFICIAL NYSC REGISTRATION & CAMP REQUIREMENTS

www.tariqqco.blogspot.com

PART 1:
Official NYSC Camp Registration Requirements:

1. CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of camp registration and the only evidence that you are a prospective corps member (colloq. Corper, or Otondo)and you are not impersonating anyone. This will be taken from and not returned to you. So if at all you even forget you luggage never forget this.

Tip: Since many will choose the N4,000 option to print online, do try to use a café with laser jet printers andnot DeskJet. Why? Documents printed with DeskJets are more susceptible to water/moisture damage. Just to be on a safer side and you should do this with any document you intend to keep for a very long time. If you can’t find a LaserJet, use anyone.

Tip: DO NOT LAMINATE IT! and keep it like its your life. I know someone who was sent back because she forgot hers. Also someone who had to beg and beg before his letter was collected because he laminated his own copy. So please avoid all these stress and make enough copies of this letter.

2. Registration Documents: If you’re a foreign graduate, take along the original credentials you uploaded (to the NYSC Portal) for physical verification / evaluation. >> The List here

3. Green Card: It contains your bio-data. Print and bring along your signed copy.

4. Final Year Student IDENTITY CARD

5. Notification/STATEMENT OF RESULT from School

6. PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: Now make about 10 copies of every document required. There would be photocopiers in camp at mammy market but trust me, it is double the price and it saves time.

7. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important. Take as many as you can, about 20 in red backgrounds. You would need them for different kinds of registration. e.g, skill acquisition groups, religious groups, sports, redeployment, bank account opening e.t.c

8. My CLEAR BAG: You’ll need to put the aforementioned in a portable envelope/bag that can withstand some amount of wear/tear. Hence, My Clear Bag.

Tip: The forms that will be handed to you are very easy to fill. Attach your passport where necessary and fill them correctly. After your registration, you will be issued with your State Code Number. This will be like your PIN throughout your Service Year.

PART 2:

9.  CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: For Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses & Lab Scientists, take along your proof of certification. Graduates of Medicine and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (NMDCN) and Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) respectively.

10. STATIONERY: PEN, PAPER, GUM. Yeah this saves time and lots of unnecessary begging.

Tip: Some camps do seize staplers at the gate during check-in. But do not forget to include pins in your stapler if you still decide to take it along.

You will be given a meal ticket that gives you access to the Camp kitchen for the 21 days. Lose it and you have to feed yourself. Even if you do not intend to use it, you will come across someone who would appreciate the kind gesture.

Tip: After getting your NYSC State Code Number (which you have to wear around your neck all through camp with your ID card), you can proceed to claim your NYSC Kit and Mattress after which you can proceed to get a Room. After you have gotten your kit and secured a place in the hostels, you can settle down and you are good to go to start the Military parades.

Now, Your NYSC kit should contain 1 NYSC Crested Vest, A pair of Khaki Trousers, Cap and Jacket, 2 White T-shirts, 2 Pairs of Knickers, 2 pairs of green-stripped Stockings, A Pair of Orange Jungle Boots and One Pair of White Converse. A “Belt” is also included.

PART 3:
DAILY NEEDS:

11. ROUND-NECKED WHITE T-SHIRTS: This is an essential outfit in camp in fact in most camps this is the only allowed cloth to be worn throughout your 3 weeks. Even to church, you might not be allowed to wear colored cloths. You would be given 2 pairs of white t-shirts at camp to just fulfill all righteousness which surely would never be your size especially our very slimand small otondo in size . So you can bring extra pairs (6). Why? Because you probably wont have time to wash during the week after being stressed out from the parades and Man-O-War drills.

Tip: Do not carry more than 2 pairs of colored clothes because you wont need them.

12. WHITE SHORT/ 3 QUARTER SHORT: I beg you please do bring yours. you would also be given 2 pairs of shorts which are really poor in material. They tear easily and it can be annoying. So my dear Otondos bring like 4 pairs of shorts. Trust me also you wont like to wash everyday, so bring enough to last you like 3 days so that you wont be stranded.

13. PLAIN WHITE SNEAKERS/TENNIS SHOES: This is a very important outfit. you would also be given an ugly pair of low quality white tennis shoes customized for NYSC.

14. WHITE SOCKS: Just get extra pairs.

15. PADLOCKS: [BRING or BUY from Mammy] Please lock your boxes and bags to avoid regrets and tears. I know someone who lost more than 5 items including his two phones – like he’s the only one in camp.

16. WAIST POUCH: /Fanny pack/Bum bag (or for the more fashion-conscious, a cross-body purse). The bum bags are more popular because they won’t bang against you when you’re active and your hands are free to do whatever. You need it to carry your money, phone, small valuables, pens, etc around with you at all times. You should sleep with it too.

17. MOSQUITO TREATED NET: You would do not want to fall sick in camp from malaria and miss out on the fun. Just bring yours. Also bring ropes you would use to hang it. The nets usually have these. I also used mine as a room to protect my box and properties from thievesand also from some insects and ants.

18. BASIC DRUGS: Like paracetamol, medicine for your allergies, menstrual pain relief drug, nausea relief drugs, antibiotics e.t.c. The camp clinic is sometimes inadequately stocked with drugs so help yourself. True story – A corper once donated at least a million Naira worth of medicine to the Lagos State NYSC camp clinic, and barely a few days later, they claimed to have run out of medicine.

19. ANTISEPTIC/DISINFECTANTS: Such as Dettol etc. This is very, very essential. Firstly the bathrooms can be very annoying and dirty and more importantly, you would not like to have infection from camp. Bad idea. Depending on your camp, the water can be dirty. Most people always have reaction to it.

20. DETERGENT: [BUY from Mammy.] Again, this reduces the amount of load you’re bringing into camp. However, if you’re lucky the mammy market will have vendors offering laundry services! It costs about N50 per item, N100 for your khaki trousers or jacket, extra N50 if you want your items pressed although cost will vary across camps.

Tip: The Bucket: Buy this in Mammy. Don’t stress yourself taking one to Camp, which you’re probably going to leave behind after 3 weeks. Toiletries: Toilet Paper, Sanitary Pad, soap dish etc. BUY in Mammy.

21. TOWELS

22. A PAIR OF SLIPPERS: [BRING or BUY]

23. Bed sheets, Pillow Cases and A Pillow. You could also get pillow from mammy market to reduce load.

Tip: Mattresses will be provided by NYSC. It is best to “double up” with the mattresses, as they are about 1 to 2 inches thick. Lol.

24. HANDKERCHIEF. There will be BUCKETS of sweating. Do yourself a favor.

25. FLASK, BOWL and CUP: [BRING or BUY] For eating. Important for those who intend on eating Camp food.

Tip: You will be fed three times a day in camp but I must not lie to you, the food there is nothing to write home about. They can be nice on few occasions like Sundays, but most days, they are poor. If you are someone who loves to eat good food, make provisions for your ownfood. You should get some fast foods along, some breakfast cereals and beverages. You should also hold extra cash to eat at the Mammy market. You will get good meals there.

26. BEVERAGE: The camp will supply you with “Tea-water” or ‘brown-water’ so you can make tea when you need to!

27. FLASHLIGHT OR RECHARGEABLE LAMPS: [BRING] Most camps, do not give light except at a specific time of the day. It’s very essential especially at night when you need to use the bathroom, early in the morning when preparing for morning drills and meditationsand at night in case you need to do anything. At the mammy market, there is always light till they close, usually 10pm except on days like the Camp Fire Night where they stay open till, say, 3am depending on how lenient your camp commander is. You can charge your lamps there for a little fee.

28. Some form of entertainment: Novels – for those who get bored easily, please take a few. and for guys, games on your phone would do or chess. Your music player and headphones for audiophiles.

29. Your Ray-Ban sunglasses for the sun. and if you can’t afford that, get a Ray-Bon.

30. Get extra phone batter(ies) and extra Network SIMs. Some networks are not available at some camps as they’re usually in remote locations, far from town centres. Once you get your call-up letter, you can find out (from serving corpers or tweet at me @_NYSC) which network has the best reception at your destination camp. If you need data access, find out if that available also. Instagrammers and YouTubers, if you get EDGE thank your stars. But there has been some improvement as network providers now know the volume of traffic NYSC camps generate.

31. CASH: Extremely important. You would need about N20,000. Then between N30,000 – N40,000 to be ‘just’ comfortable. For those that can manage, say about N15,000. There are lots of things that take up money. Things like food (for those who don’t intend eating from the camp kitchen), energy drinks, recharge cards, charging of electronic devices, laundry, pleasures e.t.c.

32. ATM Card: You ‘normally’ wont be allowed to leave camp. So do not be stranded, trust me it’s not a good idea. Just budget N1,000 per day. You should take your ATM card along, in case. (This might sound counter-intuitive since there might not be any ATM in your campand you are not allowed to leave camp. But figure it out…) You can keep your extra cash with the Accounts Department (as the case was in my camp) while some shops offer POS services, you still have access to extra cash whenever you need it.

If you have a camera you can take it along because you will want to snap a lot of scenes. If you have a Smartphone with great camera, that’s good for you because you can easily take and share photos on social networks instantly.

Tip: If you don’t have any of those, you will have to pay some guys on camp who do that as business to follow you around and snap you wherever you go. They might charge up to N2,000 for the duration of the camping. They should give you all your photos and videos in DVDs at the end of Camping. Or you could wait till the last day of leaving camp and snap at a cheaper rate.

CHRISTIANS' TERRORISM AT CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

Tens of thousands of Muslims flee Christian militias in Central African Republic

Killing and atrocities continue as thousands flee to neighboring countries.

www.tariqqco.blogspot.com

BANGUI, Central African Republic – Tens of thousands of Muslims are fleeing to neighboring countries by plane and truck as Christian militias stage brutal attacks, shattering the social fabric of this war-ravaged nation.

In towns and villages as well as here in the capital, Christian vigilantes wielding machetes have killed scores and mosques in recent days, according to witnesses, aid agencies and peacekeepers. Tens of thousands of Muslims have fled their homes.

The cycle of chaos is fast becoming one of the worst outbreaks of violence along Muslim-Christian fault lines in recent memory in sub-Saharan Africa, tensions that have also plagued countries such as Nigeria and Sudan.

The brutalities began to escalate when the country’s first Muslim leader, Michel Djotodia, stepped down and went into exile last month. Djotodia, who had seized power in a coup last March, had been under pressure from regional leaders to resign. His departure was meant to bring stability to this poor country, but humanitarian and human rights workers say there is more violence now than at any time since the coup.

“Civilians remain in constant fear for their lives and have been largely left to fend for themselves,” Martine Flokstra, emergency coordinator for the aid agency Doctors Without Borders, said in a statement Friday, adding that the violence had reached “extreme and unprecedented” levels.

On Friday, thousands of Muslims hopped aboard trucks packed with their possessions, protected by soldiers from Chad, and drove out of Bangui, as Christians cheered their departures or tried to loot the trucks as they drove through Christian areas. At least one Muslim man, who fell from a truck, was killed by a mob. Meanwhile, thousands more Muslims huddled at the airport in a crowded hangar, waiting to be evacuated.

“They are killing Muslims with knives,” said Muhammed Salih Yahya, 38, a shopkeeper, making a slitting motion across his throat. He arrived at the airport Wednesday from the western town of Yaloke with his wife and five children. “I built my house over two years, but the Christians destroyed it in minutes. I want to leave.”

Christians have also been victims of violence, targeted by Muslims in this complex communal conflict that U.N. and humanitarian officials fear could implode into genocide. Several hundred thousand Christians remain in crowded, squalid camps, unable or too afraid to return home.

But attacks on Muslims in particular are intensifying, aid workers said.

Djotodia’s departure weakened the former Muslim rebels, known as Seleka, who carried out deadly attacks on Christians after they grabbed power in March, prompting the birth of Christian militias called the anti-balaka, or “anti-machete” in the local Sango language. The armed vigilantes have used the power vacuum to step up assaults on Muslims.

Now in disarray, the Seleka are no longer able to protect Muslims from the Christian vigilantes. The roughly 6,500 French and African troops authorized by the U.N. Security Council to intervene have been unable to stop the violence.

“In the northwest and in Bangui, we are currently witnessing direct attacks against the Muslim minority,” Flokstra said. “We are concerned about the fate of these communities trapped in their villages, surrounded by anti-Balaka groups, and also about the fact that many Muslim families are being forced into exile to survive.”

Fleeing to Chad

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), more than 60,000 people, most of them Muslim, have fled to neighboring countries since Dec. 5, when violence erupted after an uprising by the Christian militias and former government soldiers. The number of departures escalated after Djotodia’s resignation. Muslims make up roughly 15 percent of the country’s 4.5 million people.

Most have fled to Chad and Cameroon, while others have gone to Nigeria, Niger and Sudan, according to IOM statistics. The numbers include foreigners who work in the Central African Republic as well as citizens. In this region, people often have social and economic ties across borders. Many families here, for example, have relatives in Chad, Cameroon and other neighboring nations.

IOM officials are concerned about those leaving. The vast majority, roughly 50,000, are headed to Chad, a mostly Muslim country that is also among the poorest in the world.

“What kind of support will they get from the Chadian authorities? Are they going to be able to reinsert themselves into society there?” said Giovanni Cassani, the emergency coordinator for IOM. “50,000 is a small town. And there is more on the way, and there will be more, unless the situation improves here.”

The Central African Republic, Cassani said, is already reeling from the economic shock of Muslims departing. Many are traders and shopkeepers who imported staples. They also ran the meat industry. “It’s going to have a massive effect on society here,” Cassani said. “Prices are going up. . . . It’s been extremely difficult to find beef in the capital.”

Many of the clashes have occurred in northwestern towns. In a village called Bozoum, 2,500 Muslims fled Wednesday, according to Doctors Without Borders. And Bouar, a Muslim town of 8,000 people, “remains effectively imprisoned” by anti-balaka militias, according to the agency.

In Bangui, the capital, Chadian special forces and former Seleka rebels guarded the convoy of trucks carrying Muslims out of the city toward the Chadian border. The Muslims were picked up at the airport, at mosques and from an area called Kilo 5, one of the capital’s last remaining Muslim enclaves. In some cases, French and African soldiers had to fend off looters. A few trucks had to be abandoned.

The man who fell off one of the trucks was viciously slain by a mob that cut off his genitals and hands, said Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director for Human Rights Watch.

“The French keep trying to say the situation is stabilizing, but it actually isn’t,” Bouckaert said. “The only areas that are stabilizing are areas where all the Muslims are gone.”

Only two weeks ago, Bouckaert said, the Muslim neighborhood of Miskine was untouched by the anti-balaka. Today, the area is deserted, mosques and Muslim homes looted and taken apart brick by brick. About 10,000 Muslims lived in the town of Bossangoa in December, he added. Only a few hundred are left.

At the airport, Muhammad Abdirahman, 62, was waiting to leave. His village, Jbawi, had been burned down by the anti-balaka and nearly everyone was dead, he said. Fortunately, he had left with his wife and 12 children before the massacre, and arrived at the airport last week. Originally from Chad, he has lived here for the past 50 years.

“I don’t even know Chad,” he said. “But what can I do? If I stay, the Christians will use every opportunity to kill me and my family.”

FRAUD IN TB JOSHUA & OYAKHILOME'S OPERATIONS

Peller speaks on fraud in TB Joshua, Oyakhilome's operations.

www.tariqqco.blogspot.com

– Yet another shocking revelation has been made regarding the powers of Prophet T.B Joshua and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

 – Bishop Kayode Peller has claimed that both clergymen are magicians The General Overseer (GO) of the Fingers of God Church, Alagbado Lagos state, Bishop Kayode Joseph Abiola Peller, has cast aspersions on Senior Pastor of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), T.B Joshua, and Chris Oyakhilome, founder of Christ Embassy.

Bishop Peller who is son of the late renowned magician, Professor Peller, called out clergymen, accusing them of being magicians. The renowned magician, said the duo, his colleagues in the ministry, use their eyes with demonic powers in them to superimpose their thoughts into people. In a recent interview with Flip TV, Peller said: “What I see Temitope Joshua do from my own magic experience is what we call mesmerism. It is also called hypnotism.” He claimed that while T.B Joshua uses Kabballah magic to hypnotize his congregation and the general public over his miracles, Chris Oyakhilome’s association with Joshua makes him a suspect. Taking on Oyakhilome, Peller said: “I used to believe Oyakhilome before. That ended the day I saw him and Joshua doing miracles and castigating our pastors, Ayo and Okonkwo. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Whatsapp T B Joshua and Chris Oyakhilome

“When you castigate these great men of God, you are no more for God. They do miracles but don’t know what they teach. “I would say they use magic on their followers since I was a former magician. I see in their actions hypnotism and seduction. I mean the way we used to seduce our congregation; those that come to watch our magic those days. “I see mesmerism, hypnotism and occult display in what they do. How can people jubilate over atmosphere of miracles and before they get to the bus stop, the miracles have gone.

Miracles are not limited to atmosphere. God is in charge of everywhere,” he added. According to the Bishop: “They use the eyes with the demonic power in them to superimpose their thoughts into people. It happens, for most of those walking in the streets have very weak spirits. For there is witchcraft ability in every man. “That is what we call telepathising: I mean, when I see them do their drama of healing while dancing from one side to another. I know its hypnotism. “These are dangerous occultist words. Telepathising, hypnotism, occultism, kabbalah magic are processes of ruling the minds of weaker men. It could go to the length of seeing the magic maker in the dreams once the weaker person allows the demonic spirit of the conjurer to influence his mind.”

Defending his criticism on the duo, the reformer said: “Let nobody think that I am jealous of them because their churches are big. If I want to make mine big I know what to do.

I am the son of Peller. I know where things happen. “I am not a ‘mugu’, to say the truth. They can’t fool me. I want to make heaven. I don’t want my work to be a waste; for every work built on faulty foundation, shall not stand the test of time. “Foundation of deceit, occultism and demonic power cannot stand the test of time when the owner leaves. Jesus will deny them on that day. “God only can say if Joshua is a real man of God.

I don’t judge them; only God can do that. “Having said all these, I have nothing against them. For I feel that nothing can be except God allows,”

Bishop Kayode quipped. It would be recalled that about a fortnight ago, a very popular Ghanaian witch doctor, Nana Kwaku Bonsam said T.B Joshua comes to him to acquire spiritual powers. He challenged the Nigerian prophet to come out openly to deny.

EVIL OF VALENTINE'S DAY: 5 Reasons Why You Must Stay Away.

EVIL OF VALENTINE'S DAY
5 Reasons You Must STAY AWAY.
www.tariqqco.blogspot.com

I do not plan to write or say anything about VALENTINE'S DAY but I was compelled by three reasons. I was given a lecture on evils of this DAY and the manners Muslims Youth are stylishly propagating such dead end. Apart from this I overheard a Muslim sister in street telling her elder sister who sells capes, hijabs and other Islamic materials her friends from school needs red hijabs they will go out on come VAL day. Meanwhile some some who have been weaned  and nursed by shaytan have now been disguising as Muslims to perpetrate and confused Muslim youths by organizing Islamic Valentine's Day. Subhanallah. So I keep wondering about the level of ignorance and Satanism in the society. Before our youths will start to make VAL announcement in the Mosaajid, we must rise up to kill this evil.

LET ME START BY SAYING

Each year on February 14th countless millions of people celebrate a day known as “St. Valentine’s Day.” Millions of heart-shaped cards and boxes of chocolates are given as gifts, and even churches have Valentine parties on this so-called “Day of Love.” In schools, from pre-school and kindergarten on up, children draw names from a box  and exchange heart-shapes notes which “pair off” the children and is said to be “all in fun.” People of all ages get into the act, and the words that are heard everywhere on that day are, “Be My Valentine.”

The sad fact is that most people never question the origin of the customs that they involve themselves with. Most people do not ask questions but do what everybody else does, never stopping to consider how the Almighty Allah feels about their activities.  When we consider that Valentine’s Day is a day  of preoccupation with the heart, it is essential we learn its origin and evil, Why is there a preoccupation with the color red? Where did the heart shape come from, and what does it mean?

ORIGIN OF VALENTINE'S DAY

In the days of the Roman Empire, the month of February was the last and shortest month of the year. February originally had 30 days, but when Julius Caesar named the month of July after himself, he decided to make that month longer and shortened February to 29 days while making July a month of 31 days. Later when Octavius Caesar, also known as Augustus, came to power, he named the month of August after himself, and not be outdone he also subtracted a day from February and gave the month of August 31 days. To this very day it remains that way.

The ancient Romans believed that every month had a spirit that gained in strength and reached its peak or apex of power in the middle or ides of the month.  This was usually the 15th day, and it was a day when witches and augurs, or soothsayers worked their magic. An augur was a person filled with a spirit of divination, and from the word augur we get the word “inaugurate”, which means to “take omens”.

Since February had been robbed by Caesars and had only 28 days, the ides of February became the 14th day of that month. Since the Ides of a month was celebrated on the preceding eve, the month of February was unique, because it was the 13th day that became the eve of the Ides that month, and it became a very important pagan holiday in the Empire of Rome. The sacred day of February 14th was called “Lupercalia” or “day of the wolf.”  This was a day that was sacred to the sexual frenzy of the goddess Juno.

This day also honored the Roman gods, Lupercus and Faunus, as well as the legendary twin brothers, who supposedly founded Rome, Remus and Romulus. These two are said to have been suckled by wolves in a cave on Palatine Hill in Rome. The cave was called Lupercal and was the center of the celebrating on the eve of Lupercalia or February 14th. On this day, Lupercalia, which was later named Valentine’s Day, the Luperci or priests of Lupercus dressed in goatskins for a bloody ceremony. The priests of Lupercus, the wolf god, would sacrifice goats and a dog and then smear themselves with blood. These priests, made red with sacrificial blood, would run around Palatine Hill in a wild frenzy while carving a goatskin thong called a “februa.” Women would sit all around the hill, as the bloody priests would strike them with the goatskin thongs to make them fertile. The young women would then gather in the city and their names were put in boxes. These “love notes” were called “billets.” The men of Rome would draw a billet, and the woman whose name was on it became his sexual lust partner with whom he would fornicate until the next Lupercalia or February 14th.

Thus, February 14th became a day of unbridled sexual lust. The color “red” was sacred to that day because of the blood and the “heart shape”  that is popular to this day. The heart-shape was not a representation of the human heart, which looks nothing like it. This shape represents the human female matrix or opening to the chamber of sacred copulation.

When the Gnostic Catholic Church began to get a foothold in Rome around the 3rd century A.D., they became known as Valentinians. The Catholic  Valentinians retained the sexual license of the festival in what they called “angels in a nuptial chamber”, which was also called the “sacrament of copulation.” This was said to be an reenactment of the marriage of “Sophia and the Redeemer.” As the participants of the February 14th ritual began their sexual sacrament, presided over and watched by the priests known as Valentinians, the following literary was spoken: “Let the seed of light descend into thy bridal chamber, receive the bridegroom… open thine arms to embrace him. Behold, grace has descended upon thee.”

As time went on, the Orthodox Church suppressed the Gnostic Catholics and manufactured “St. Valentine”, whose day continues to be celebrated in these modern times.

Another Version...

The figure of St. Valentine has been difficult for historians to peg down into one specific person, rather there were several throughout history, with various backstories and supposed miracles taking place. However, the tale that seems to have superseded the rest is completely abstract and ridiculous.

Cue the Passion of the Christ music – the year is 270 AD, and Christianity is under heavy persecution from the Emperor Claudius in Rome, who rules with an iron fist. Our hero Valentine, a true practitioner of the teachings of Christ, has been marrying Christian couples and soldiers, which is strictly banned under Claudius. He’s swiftly apprehended for his crimes against humanity and brought before the emperor, who takes a liking to the lad, but things go south quickly because Valentine can’t keep his mouth shut about Jesus, and tries to convert Claudius. He is sentenced to death.

Now it gets convoluted. While in prison, he ends up healing one of the jailers blind daughters…because apparently he has powers all of a sudden. This compels the jailer to free all the Christian prisoners, Valentine included, and his entire family converts to Christianity. Somehow after being freed, Valentine is arrested again, and again is scheduled to be executed. While he awaits death, he sends a love letter to a judges daughter, closing with “Your Valentine.” Then he gets beaten, stoned, and beheaded, not to mention he was basically forgotten until 496 AD by Pope Gelasius I, when Valentines Day was recognized (and merged with Lupercalia depending on the source).

So here’s the quick version: Valentines Day is the celebration of a Christian martyr who sent a love letter to a judges daughter while imprisoned and then was brutally executed for previously attempting to convert the emperor to Christianity. Forgive me for not seeing the romanticism in this.

TO THE MUSLIMS

It should be without saying that Muslims should avoid Valentine’s Day like a plague.  In God’s eyes, it is still “Lupercalia”, the “Day Of The Wolf.” Men become wolves, as they carry on the Satanic rituals of fornication, which means sexual intercourse without marriage. We have heard of the “wolf whistle”, and we all know that wolves do not whistle. It is lustful men and women, who carry on Satan’s blasphemy  to this very day.
e must ask ourselves, “IF CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE THIS, SHOULD TRUE MUSLIMS BE ASSOCIATED IN ANY WAY WITH CELEBRATION OF EVIL? Should we be doing what the heathen have done for so many years  and try to justify it as love?”

REASONS WHY VALENTINE'S DAY IS EVIL

1. YOU WORSHIPS AND CELEBRATES LUPERCALIA (god)

What would a holiday about love and relationships be without shadowy origins involving beating women into submission? Yes, those ancient Romans certainly had a way with sex and violence. Basically Lupercalia was a big naked pastoral festival that lasted from Feb 13-15, where everyone got trashed and fornicated. The main event included lining up all the single ladies at the party, where they would wait in line for the men to whip the hell out of them. This was done in the belief that it would make them more fertile, or at least so dazed that getting knocked up didn’t seem like such a big deal. After that there was an old school swingers party raffle, where everyone paired up for the rest of the holiday, and probably tried to drink enough to forget the whole epic beat down thing.

Scholars have debated forever if Lupercalia is in fact the original representation of love day, but what is proven, is that in the 5th century Pope Gelasius I officially merged the Christian St. Valentines Day with the Roman orgy in order to eliminate any pagan rituals that may have been lingering about. Thus, they became one and the same, and many prevailing traits of the holiday today originated from something out of the Wicker Man. So, whoever, wherever and whatever ways you believe or happy or participate in this evil day, you have worship other than Allah. DONT BECOME A KAAFIR JUST BECAUSE OF A DAY.

2. IT MAKES FEMALES A HOOKER, USELESS AND CHEAP

Thank you so much for the overstuffed teddy bear, I now feel compelled to allow you. That’s the entire message of the advertisement shown above, that and the idea that females will be wearing some kind of satin jammies when you get it on. Basically anything you choose to purchase for your significant other will be marketed with sex because that’s so much exclusive to Valentines Day. Making gifts appear as a prerequisite for intimacy is a recipe for disaster.
First off, it suggests ladies will engage in sex only after receiving material compensation. You can go on and on about how some satanic elements takes a woman out to dinner is the same song and dance, but Valentines Day takes this concept over the edge. Every year the presents have to be more expensive and grand, with the promise the sex you receive will be totally mind blowing because those earrings were really expensive. If you get her a ring, she’ll probably invite her twin sister or friend over too for your friend. Nowadays girls are more than cheap!

3. IT'S NOT CHEATING OR SIN TO BE WITH ANOTHER MAN OR WOMAN (Your non mahram)

There’s something no one tells you about Valentines day when you’re in a relationship or not – it’s a lot of pressure. The mandatory romance stick gets old real quick when you’re with your non mahram rushing to entertain him or her who visits you, plans and get the perfect little something for the girl you’ve been exclusive with for a whole eight minutes. All the hearts and flowers will do nothing to quell feelings of your relationship free falling from casual fun to commitment town of shaytan. Maybe that’s why it’s one of the most popular days for relationships to end.

Or what about the other side of the coin? Maybe you’re in a serious relationship that’s endured to the point that you’re farting in front of each other. Now, instead of your comfortable routine of snuggling up to reality television, you’re getting dolled up to try and impress someone you’ve already fornicated. Nothing screams “our relationship has deteriorated” more than going through the motions on national take the old girl out day. Why how special, you took me to Manzo out of some pedantic obligation that has no real connection to either of us or God

4.  ITS A WAY SHAYTAN REMINDS YOU OF LONELNESS.

For being a single whenever  Valentines Day comes, it gives shytan the opportunity to come into your heart, gives you countless of thoughts to lure you into this sin. The loveless community has responded with such converse celebrations as Singles Awareness Day, which mostly involves single people buying chocolate for themselves and talking about how glad they are to not be in a relationship. That would sound funny if you are not willing to give-up this VAL day for your faith.

5. A DAY TO COMPOUND YOUR DEPRESSION AND FORCES YOUR FAITH

Depression is a common symptom of being alone on any holiday, but Valentines exacerbates those feelings by heavy handedly suggesting everyone else is in love, and that being in a relationship is the ideal state to be in. Its one of the ways Shaytan uses. Try typing ‘Valentines Day Depression’ into Google, the 2.5 million hits will give you a range of articles from helping people cope with their sadness, to angst ridden tweets about “how he broke my heart”. All the lonely people. You are yet to marry, but you are busy with religious rites and propagation, is that what you think loneliness is? Common brothers and sisters, its a good way to give-in to shaytan.  Or you are about to nikkah and you are thinking to be with her, its one of the reasons shaytan will enter your head in a day like this. A million worth question to a Muslim is WHAT TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP DO YOU DO?, HOW AND WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET YOUR PARTNER?, WHAT TYPE OF PARTNER?

BREAKING NEWS: 15 Years Teenager Claimed Jesus Christ impregnated Her.

www.tariqqco.blogspot.com

15 YEARS PREGNANT TEENAGER CLAIMED JESUS CHRIST IS THE FATHER

WHAT SHOULD WE CALL THIS?

Latifah Smith-Nabengana, a pregnant 15-year-old

teenager from Ohio has claimed that Jesus Christ is the

father of her unborn baby.

According to her, an angel, during an encounter in July

2015, ‘divinely impregnated’ her while explaining that

she she had been chosen to bear a child for Jesus

Christ.

World News Daily Report quoted her to have said: “He

told me that he was a Nephilim, like those described in

the Bible.

“He told that he had a message from Jesus, He said that

I was going to be pregnant, and that I would give birth

to a son, Jesus’ son.”

According to the Bible in Genesis 6:4, “The Nephilim

were on the earth in those days, and also afterward,

when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men,

and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty

men who were of old, men of renown.”

Everyone in her family has since shown support for her

since she announced it to them.

Dr William Franklin Murphy, who has been monitoring

the teenager’s pregnancy, informed that he is aware of

her version, but is unable to either confirm or invalidate

her claims.

The gynecologist said: “For all I know, her pregnancy

seems normal. Her claims of ‘Virgin pregnancy’ are

technically true, but that doesn’t mean there was a

divine intervention. I can tell you that it’s a boy, but

there no way for me to determine if it is Jesus’ son until

he is born. If she asks for a DNA test at that time, then

we can tell you who the father is.”

The doctor, being aware of some laws concerning

medical secrets, refused to discuss any detail

concerning the young woman’s pregnancy.

The young lady has further stated that she wants a

paternity test as soon as her son is born, just to show

that she was not hallucinating with her claims.

6 STEPS TO GO BACK TO ALLAH

www.tariqqco.blogspot.com
CLICK TO WATCH THE VERY SHORT VIDEO ABOVE TO TELL YOU WHY YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO ALLAH.

for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction. (Surah Al-Rad, 13:28)

To be close to our Creator is a fundamental need of every human being and striving to achieve it can be the healing for our chaotic inner selves which, in turn, leads to:
  1. Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) love
  2. Greater productivity
  3. Confidence
  4. Satisfaction and joy
Therefore, it is essential to exert effort in seeking closeness to your Creator. To begin with, the prescription to getting closer to Allah requires a few things from you:
  1. Strong intention to get closer to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He)
  2. Patience
  3. Consistency
  4. Avoid doing nothing
Let’s first consider our worth to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). If you want to know your worth to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), then see what you are doing with your life. Are you pleasing Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) or disappointing Him?
Don’t like your answer?
Well, there is good news. The fact that you are seeking closeness to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) means He wants you to remember Him. Being productive is very important as a Muslim. It is a sign of Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) mercy that you have come to seek beneficial knowledge from websites like this one. A righteous deed is like a pearl necklace – when it breaks, all the pearls follow one another quickly.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that the Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said that Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), the Exalted and Glorious said, “I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him. (Sahih Muslim).

We need to struggle to achieve great things. The harder the struggle is, the better the outcome becomes. Getting close to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) takes time. We cannot expect everything to magically fall into place by doing a righteous deed. You need to depend on Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) and trust that what He has planned for you is the best you can have, for this life and the hereafter.
Here are some tips to achieve closeness to Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) (glorified and exalted be He):

1. Dua’a (Supplication)

We forget that we need Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) help and strength to guide us. When we get too caught up with dunya (this life) we often think we can do it on our own without His help. We have to know that nothing changes without the strength and power of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). We need to ask Him for His help, even if it is to get closer to Him, or become better at worshiping Him. We need to seek refuge in Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) in everything. It could be negative thoughts we have, our lack of productivity or even our lack of faith. We need to ask Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) to help us and guide us to the Straight Path. Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) says in the Qur’an:

”And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided(2:186).

2. Stay Away from Poisons

You need to get any poisons out of your life. Poison has many forms. Fix your heart, by staying away from anything that Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) doesn’t love. If you are around friends that make you sin and make you disappoint Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), then you need to get them out of your life.

The Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

3. Get to Know Allah [SWT] Through His 99 Beautiful Names

How can you love Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) and want to get closer to Him if you don’t know Him that well? We fall in love with people as we get to know them more and realize that they have a lot of beautiful qualities and characteristics. Of course Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) is above any analogy, but you need know Him more. Wanting to get closer alone won’t do you any good without falling in love with your Creator. Start with the name of Al-Wadud, the Ever-Loving. Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) love for you is unconditional. He does not need or want anything from you in return. He loves you so He keeps giving you even if you disobey Him. Ask Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) with His 99 Names.
He is the One who is closest to you (Qareeb). So ask Him to bring you closer to Him. Call on Him using the name Al-Wadud and ask Him to love you more and make you love Him more. It’s as simple as that. We tend to overthink stuff and forget that if we seek refuge in Allah  subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), He will make everything easier on us.
Abu Huraira raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, “If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying, ‘Allah loves so and-so; O Gabriel! Love him.’ Gabriel would love him and make an announcement amongst the inhabitants of the Heaven. ‘Allah loves so-and-so, therefore you should love him also,’ and so all the inhabitants of the Heaven would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

4. Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He))

Remembering Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) is essential in achieving closeness to Him. You can remember him by engaging in dhikr (remembrance) and tasbeeh (praise).
Say Astaghfirullah a lot to erase your sins.
Say Alhamdulillah so Allah will give you more.
Look outside your window and say Subhan-Allah about His beautiful creations.
The most elegant form of remembering Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) is by looking at His creations. When you are in between tasks like driving or walking, remember Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). Listen to Islamic lectures or Islamic poetry that talk about Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) glory. Surround yourself with people who remind you of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). Attend halaqas or religious circles in masjids or you can even create your own gathering of remembrance. The more you remember Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), the more He will remember you. See what happens when you are sitting in a gathering that is filled with Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) remembrance.
Allah’s Messenger [SAW] said:

“Whenever some people gather in one of Allah’s houses (mosques) to recite the book of Allah and study it among themselves – then calmness (tranquility) descends upon them, the angels surround them, mercy covers them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him. (Sahih Muslim)

5. Follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him)

By following the Sunnah of our prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) we will gain the love of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). When you gain the love of Allahsubḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), you will get closer to him. Following the sunnah of the Prophet makes you a better person. You will have better manners and ethics. Read more about the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him); fall in love with your Messenger. After all, he was a mercy to all mankind. Allah says so in the Qu’ran:

“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (3:31)”.

6. Stay Connected to the Qur’an

Reading or memorizing the Qur’an alone is not enough. Understand it and act upon it. Try your best to act the way we were asked to in the Qur’an. Strive for the best. Reflect on its meanings; it will give you answers to your daily life’s complications. When you read the Qur’an and understand it more you will be more likely to reach the level of ihsan. You will want to do everything right. In the form of a man, Gabriel/Jibreel 'alayhi'l-salām (peace be upon him) once entered a gathering where the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was sitting. One of the questions the angel asked was to elaborate on the term “ihsan”, Prophet Muhammed ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said,

That you worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you don’t see Him then truly He sees you.(Bukhari and Muslim)

Wrapping It All Up

Be productive, seek knowledge and take action. The more you love Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He), the more you will do to get closer to Him. The more you get closer to Him, the more He will get closer to you. The more you will want to learn about the sunnah and the Qur’an and want to get even closer to Him, the closer you will become to reaching the level of ihsan. When you reach that level you will feel Allah’s subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) love and you will be satisfied with everything He gives you. You will be productive because you won’t want to waste time without pleasing Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). You will be confident in anything that you do in your life, because you will have full trust in Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). May Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) guide us to the path that takes us closer to Him.

Ameen.
