OUTBREAK OF ANOTHER DEADLY DISEASE
Dear All,
With the recent outbreak of Lassa fever in the country, it is important for us to put in place preventive and control measures in our homes/offices most especially since reported cases has been confirmed in the region.
The Minister of Health , Prof Isaac Adewole issued a statement on Wednesday, 6th January 2016 in Abuja in response to the outbreak of Lassa fever in the country in his statement he confirmed that the fever has spread into eight states namely : Bauchi, Nasarawa, Niger, Taraba, Kano, Rivers, Edo and Oyo. He added, “The total number of suspected cases so far reported is 76 with 35 deaths, and a Case Fatality Rate of 46 per cent. “Healthcare workers seeing a patient suspected to have Lassa Fever should immediately contact the epidemiologist in the State Ministry of Health or call the Federal Ministry of Health using the following numbers: 08093810105,08163215251, 08031571667 and 08135050005.
Lassa Fever is an acute febrile illness with bleeding and death in severe cases, caused by the Lassa Fever virus with an incubation period of 6 to 21 days.
About 80 per cent of human infections are asymptomatic, the remaining cases have severe multi-system disease, where the virus affects several organs in the body, such as the liver, spleen and kidneys.
The onset of the disease is usually gradual, starting with fever, general weakness, and malaise followed by headache, sore throat, muscle pain, chest pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, cough, and bleeding from mouth, nose, vagina or gastro-intestinal tract, and low blood pressure.
The reservoir or host of the Lassa virus is the “multi-mammate rat” called Mastomys natalensis.
PREVENTION
It is important to promote good hygiene. Here are some more measures to keep in place:
· Avoid contact between rats and human beings;
· Keep your house and Environment clean
· Cover all foods and water properly.
· Cook all foods thoroughly
· Store foodstuffs in rodent proof containers
· Block all rat hideouts
· If you suspect that rat has eaten any food, discard it
· Family members should always be careful to avoid contact with blood and body fluids while caring for sick persons.
· Disposing of garbage far from the home, maintaining clean households
· Effective measures include storing grain and other foodstuffs in rodent-proof containers.
PROPHETIC PRECAUTION
While taking the precautions suggested we shouldn't forget the du'aa taught by the Prophet (peace of Allaah be upon him) when there's outbreak of diseases
The du'aa:
ﺍﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﺇﻧﻲ ﺃﻋﻮﺫ ﺑﻚ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺒﺮﺹ ﻭﺍﻟﺠﻨﻮﻥ،
ﻭﺍﻟﺠﺬﺍﻡ، ﻭﺳﻴﺊ ﺍﻷﺳﻘﺎﻡ".
Allahumma innee a'oodhubikka minal baras wal junooni wal judhaami wa sayyil asqaam
O Allah! I seek refuge with you from leprosy, madness and the disease that deadens the skin and enduring illness.
Meanwhile, Muslims should not enter a state, country or community where deadly contageous diseases have be confirmed spreading and killing people but if he or she is in such community must stay to see a lasting and appropriate cure or solution to such challenges.

BUHARI, MUSLIMS AND THE TRAGEDY OF VICTORY
Base on the promise made by TCN to present a comprehensive reply to Br Femi Abass's disappointing write up published by The Nation Newspaper on Friday 8th January 2016.
After the TCN comment terming Bro Femi Abass as "Lunatic" we received lots of calls telling us the word is extremely harsh looking at his status and contribution with MUSWEN,NSCIA etc, while some said he said he is more that. We want to apologize to our followers who felt it was to harsh to use such word, and we have been trying to make contact with Brother Femi Abass but its still abortive as of now.
Nonetheless, we must also say that he got it wrong with such publication and we have this to share as a response.
**PREAMBLE**
Unarguably, deceit thrives more than controversy in Nigeria. The reason is not far-fetched. Its not only because of the plurality in tribe and religion but as a result of fourth columnists and opinion leaders whom out of their dogmatic support for a cause or people hide truth, bury religious facts and commit philosophical errors amounting to fallacy. Many people mistakenly fall for the positions of these opinion leaders forgetting that not all facts are truth. Aside from deceit, through the mixture of philosophy, politics and religion, we seem to be more divided religiously than in any other realm. Why should Muslims accept ban on Hijab and what is the cause of the unfortunate debate in the religious circle currently.
**FG, TERORRISM AND THE CURRENT CONTROVERSY**
We live in an age where the loss of innocent lives have become commonplace. Such is the all-pervasive nature of indiscriminate violence, that terrorism is considered as one of the prime threats to peace and security in our society. In Nigeria, Boko Haram have killed so many lives using different strategies, including concealing bombs behind phones, handbags, suits, military/police uniforms and religious garments.
The attacks are not, however, limited to market places, banks, airport, schools and public places but also mosques and churches.
This has rightly or wrongly made Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS) suggested that countries disturbed by terrorism should ban use of HIjab, a key method which the Nigerian Government is considering and confirmed through a tacit mention by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari during his maiden media chat.
While many Muslims rejected the move, a few others supported the comment. One of whom is Femi Abass, a columnist with The Nation Newspaper, who wrote in his article titled, ‘Hijab: Muslims against Muslims’ that, “Banning hijab is not the same as banning the practice of Islam. Life is sacred. And to worship, one needs to be alive.”
**HIJAB BAN PROPOSAL AND IMPLICATION**
Premising ones support for Hijab ban because it is a proposal from ECOWAS amounts to insensitivity on the discouraging roles of the United Nations in the travails of Islamic countries, especially Palestine. If sincerity must come to fore, no one would accept that the recommendation by ECOWAS will fit in for Nigeria like other countries (Niger Republic, Chad and Cameroon) who have banned Hijab and recorded significant success in their fight against terrorism. Also, One will, without bias, need to accept that the recommendation did not consider how the Nigerian government has ill-equipped soldiers and diverted Arms Fund to the tune of $2.1 (N420 billion- calculated to be 70% of Lagos State 2016 budget, one and half times Kano State budget and 1.3 times the budget of river states. Lagos, Rivers and Kano have the highest budget for 2016).
Those supporting the move to ban Hijab should kindly go and tell their pay-masters (if any) and those using them to survey public opinion that the Hijab ban proposal is at present rejected and can only become debatable when the Nigeria military are properly trained, well equipped with modern weapons of war and not sentenced to death for unjust reasons.
The myopic and sense-slaughtering proposal will not just canvass more sympathy for the terrorists by residents of the affected areas through further division as it is currently doing, but would worsen the insecurity and immorality in Nigeria if proper measures are not at first put in place to stop similar dubious occurrence like ‘Dasukigate’ that resulted to the denial of access to life for over 25, 000 Nigerians and made two million others lose their homes, livelihood and future to become refugee.
While pledging total allegiance to only Allah (SWT), it will be unjustifiable to go against the position of some esteemed Islamic organisations that promptly rejected the supposed lips-paying proposal by PMB that ‘FG may consider banning Hijab, 'if Boko Haram attacks persist’ as recommended by ECOWAS.
However, the Islamic Organisations may truly need to soft-pedal and attend meetings focused at deliberating on ban proposal (to stop terrorist attacks) ONLY when the Muslims clamouring for Hijab ban and the recognised leader of Muslims in Nigeria, Sultan of Sokoto, including all the leaders of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) can present all their wives and daughters in public without (them) wearing Hijab; the military are well equipped and the sabotages witnessed among government officials in the fight against terrorism.
**BUHARI'S EMERGENCE AND TRAGEDY OF VICTORY**
Why should anyone or a group of people believe that they unilaterally worked for the emergence of President Muhammad Buhari? No individual has more than a vote, only influence varies. Muslims should not be made to regret their action of voting Buhari during the last election. It is hopeful that fear among some Muslims that tragedy may end their earlier song of victory will not come to reality. Although, Buhari is a Muslim, we should not be quick to forget that he is not just the Muslims leader because Nigeria is a multi-religious country.
It is worrisome to see that many Muslim leaders are now dogmatic and supporting unnecessary, no longer critical about the activities of the current administration for reasons best known to them. They have suddenly turned to praise singer of PMB and now support actions that they would have hitherto rejected under Goodluck Jonathan's regime. Take for instance; if it was GEJ that threatened to ban Hijab, will this be the position of many Muslim leaders, both those that have aired their unfavourable position and the ones that kept quiet in this period of visible oppression?
**CONLUSION**
It is one-sided and doctored argument that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did not in a year go to Hajj for the purpose of peace and as a sign to show that human lives is more important than an act of worship. If one would want to rest on that side of argument sited from Siroh, it may mean that many Nigerians and pilgrims from different countries should have stopped going to Hajj because of stampede that usually occur there. Also, saying that "banning hijab is not the same as banning the practice of Islam. Life is sacred to worship, one needs to be alive", is vague. Does it mean that even if the Government demolish all the mosques, ban Jumaat, and sawn during Ramadan it is right because the government 'has not banned Islam'? As a language student, I can comfortably say that the tittle of the artice itself (Hijab ban: Muslims against Muslims) suggested that the allegation that terrorists are Muslims or on an Islamic mission is considerable, when it is actually not.
Our scholars need to be guided and not sided on this matter. While Hijab is expected to be worn every day, Hajj is only compulsory once in a life time and for those who have the capacity. I don't want to believe that some Islamic opinion leaders are aligning with some forces hostile to Islam by causing psychological war against the Muslims to make us lose hope for a better tomorrow and faith in a brighter future.
Brothers and sisters in Islam, this is a furious campaign that has been flared, motivated by fevered hearts, led by hired pens and subjugated spokesmen to condemn, blemish and distort all that is Islamic. Therefore, we have to resist such antagonistic campaigns with a counter weapon, that is by spreading the hope for the ultimate victory of Islam, reviving faith in its future, and saturating the souls of the future generation with a ray that dispels the darkness of despair and the fogs of frustration.

HIJAB BAN: MUSLIMS AGAINST MUSLIMS. by A Disappointing Brother Femi Abbas
PREAMBLE
Controversy is a Nigerian. It occupies a delicate but
vintage position in the hearts of most citizens and
revolves incessantly around trivial matters often to the
detriment of serious and meaningful issues. In no other
country of the world does controversy thrive as much as
it does in Nigeria.
Nigerians take pride in the vainglory
offishing out controversy even where it serves no
purpose. When public controversy in Nigeria is not about
politics, it may be about tribe or religion or gender. If this
country is most qualified for any adorable medal it is in
the realm of controversy.
Through such controversies certain peculiar vocabulary
such as tribalism, nepotism, marginalisation,
‘islamisation’and annulment often surface.
THE CURRENT CONTROVERSY
Currently, another controversy is raging in the country. It
is about an allegedly proposed ban on the Muslim
women attire called Hijab.
Incidentally, this controversy is between the Nigerian
Muslim community and the Federal Government on the
one hand and within the Muslim community on the other.
Some Muslims are alleging that the Federal Government
is planning to ban the wearing of hijab by Muslim women
and are therefore calling on President Muhammadu
Buhari not to dare it as such action may entail serious
implications.
Ironically, some other Muslims believe that the gross
abuse to which hijab is subjected(especially by Boko
Haram vandals) as well as the embarrassment which
such abuse constitutes to Islam has long warranted the
ban on hijab.
In the melee, a fierce controversy has ensued between
both sides. Thus, some Muslim groups and individuals
have taken to the internet to sensitise the Nigerian
Muslim Ummah on the need to counter the alleged
proposal with a view to preempting the Federal
Government from turning such allegation into a reality.
PROPOSAL TO BAN HIJAB
What most Nigerians, especially Muslim agitators, do
not seem to know is that the proposal to ban hijab did
not emanate from the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Rather,it came out of a security meeting held by the
Presidents of West African countries otherwise called
ECOWAS. And the reason for resorting to such a
proposal is the well-known rampant and continuous
mass killing of innocent people with bomb blasts by
some devilish elements who callously use such dress to
conceal the bombs.
The proposal came up subsequent to the experience in
countries such as Niger Republic, Chad and Cameroon
where the spate of mass murder by bomb blasts
concealed in Islamic dress in those countries went down
tremendously, following the ban on certain types of
hijab.
This experience came to confirm that the abuse of those
female Muslim garments by some devilish elements in
the society who are bent on decimating Islam by all
means. It is the main cause of mass killing adopted by
Boko Haram devils.
However, despite the ban on those types of hijab,
Muslim women in those countries still cover their heads
as well as their bodies but not in the types of robe that
can aid concealment of bombs. Besides, the three
governors of the frontline states in the Boko Haram war
(Adamawa, Bornu and Yobe) have also proposed the
banning of the dress for the purpose of peace.
WHAT IS HIJAB?
Linguistically, the Arabic word hijab means rein which is
a kind of strap with which a domestic animal, such as
horse, is cautioned against dangerous surge or unbridled
aggression.
Derivatively, hijab is a kind of scarf adopted in Islam for
Muslim women to cover their heads as well as to protect
the sensitive parts of their bodies against immoral or
sensual exposure. This is to prevent any possible
harassment or abuse to which immoral dressing easily
subjects women in the society.
By Islamic prescription, hijab is mostly meant for
women who have attained the age of puberty. But
younger women may wear it as a rehearsal in
preparation for their attainment of puberty.
TYPES OF HIJAB
Although the general name by which this attire is known
is hijab, there are other names according to the types
designed draped and worn by various Muslim women in
various countries and Muslim societies of the world.
There are several types of this attire.
For instance, in
most Arab countries, it is either called Abayah (loose
and flowing outer garment that covers the entire body
from head to feet excluding the face) or Al-Amirah
(which consists of a close fitting cap, usually made from
cotton or polyester in form of an accompanying tube-like
scarf) or Burqah (a complete cloak-like garment that
covers the entire body including the head and the face)
or Khimar (which is almost same as Burqah except for
its exclusion of Niqab).
Niqab is the special substance meant to cover the nose
of a Burqah wearing woman. In short, the name depends
on the pattern of sewing and the community in which it
is worn.
Meanwhile, the type of attire which the Boko Haram
heretic group forces some women to conceal bomb in
and which most Nigerians generally call hijab is either
Burqah or Khimar or Abayah. These are the types
banned in Niger, Chad and Cameroon which are also
being proposed for banning in the entire West African
region.
WHY DO MUSLIM WOMEN WEAR HIJAB?
Hijab is a dress of decency divinely prescribed for
Muslim women to preserve their chastity and to ward off
any indecent attraction that may cause public
harassment for them or subject them to sexual
abuse.See Quran 33 verse 59 which states thus in
respect of hijab:
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the
wives of Muslim believers to clad themselves in their
outer garments;that is more dignifying for them to be
identified with so that they will not be harassed; Allah is
most forgiving, Merciful”.
GENESIS OF HIJAB
Long before the advent of Islam, hijab had been in use by
women of various religions, including Jews, Hindus,
Zoroastrians, Christians and Buddhists though it was
called different names.
Head cover (hijab) was globally regarded as a spiritual
dress of dignity as women who wore it were accorded
high level of respect.
Today, as in the days of yore, each
community has a name for it in consonance with its
religion and language. For instance, it is called Chardon
in Iran just as it is called Dupatta in Pakistan and
Mukena or Selendang in Indonesia. In Malaysia, it is
called Tudung or Kerudung. But Islam came to
statutorily adopt it in the early 7th century as a peculiar
identity for Muslim women in some countries in Asia and
the Middle East, including Arabia.
Hijab is not necessarily a combination of long garment
plus scarf as designed in the mentioned countries. And
Islam did not limit it to any particular design or colour.
Other dignifying dresses like the type of “up and
down” (Buba and Iro) type of attire worn decently by
Nigerian Muslim women in the Northern and South
Western parts of the country which do not expose their
bodies in any way is equally qualified to be called hijab.
It is rather unfortunate that some satanic forces have
now turned the protective dress generally called hijab
into an instrument of death by violence. But this is not
quite strange since virtually every beneficial substance
anywhere in the world today is satanically abused.
HISTORY OF HIJAB
Hijab reached the Arabian Peninsula from India via
Persia (now Iran) several centuries before the advent of
Islam. It was originally meant for the upper class people,
such as princesses and wives of monarchs. But it later
became a dress for all willing women when it was
adopted by Islam not as a dress of class but as a
respectable dress of chastity. Islam is not a religion of
class. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was divinely
mandated to preach the religion of peace to all and
sundry. Thus, hijab as an adopted dress for Muslim
women could not have been discriminatory as it used to
be before the advent of Islam.
Despite its adoption as an Islamic dress, the type of
hijab designed and worn in some Muslim countries is
not necessarily mandatory on all Muslim women.
What is mandatory is decent dressing that keeps chastity and
maintains fidelity. Every nation has its language and
culture. Islam does not reject a particular language or
culture except it contradicts any of its fundamental
tenets. That is why Muslim women who wear either
Burqah or Khimar are in the minority worldwide. A
woman who does not wear Burqah or Khimar cannot be
declared persona-non grata in Islam. As far as dressing
in Islam is concerned, decency is the general norm.
IMPLICATIONS OF BANNING HIJAB
Hijab, like any other decent dress is a matter of human
right which no government can unilaterally ban. But if
anything in Islam constitutes danger to human lives and
constitutes threat to peace in a society, such a thing
could be banned or suspended for the purpose of peace.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) showed a good example of
this when he sacrificed a whole pillar of Islam (Hajj) for
the purpose of peace in 628 CE. Six years after he was
forced to migrate from Makkah to Madinah in 622 CE, he
decided to go on pilgrimage in Makkah following
inspiration to perform Hajj that year.
The Prophet’s Example
Thus, accompanied by 1400 Muslim men and women
who were fully dressed in Hajj regalia, the Prophet set
out on pilgrimage in March 628 CE. The congregation
had taken along with them all their needs including the
rams they would slaughter. He had thought that the
Meccans would respect the sacredness of the month and
honour pilgrimage as customary in Makkah. But that
assumption did not work.
On getting information about the Prophet’s trip to
Makkah for pilgrimage, the Meccans quickly assembled
and sent a delegation to meet the him and his entourage
on their way to Makkah to tell them that they would not
be allowed to enter the city.
Most of the Prophet’s companions were infuriated by
that message from the Meccans and urged the Prophet
to promptly declare a war. But the Prophet turned down
such a request and rather asked the Meccans to come
up for a treaty that would facilitate peace. Thus, each
side set up a peace committee and they jointly resolved
to put the treaty into writing.
In the process of writing the treaty, the Meccans
objected to any reference to the name of Muhammad
(SAW) as a‘Prophetof Allah’. The Prophet’s Companions
countered the objection and insisted on preceding
Muhammad’s name with the word Prophet. But again,
the Prophet calmed down his companions and agreed to
the demand of the Meccans.
THE CLAUSES OF THE TREATY
The contents of the treaty signed by the leaders were as
follows:
1. Both parties would cease hostilities for a period of
ten years.
2. The parties would not interfere with the free
movement of one another.
3. The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah upon him)
would return that year, but the Muslims would be
permitted to enter Makkah the following year.
4. Any Muslim man coming from the Quraysh to join
the Muslims would be sent back, but any man going
from the Muslims to Quraysh would not be sent
back.
5. Any tribes other than the Quraysh that wished to
enter an alliance with Muhammad (Peace and
blessings of Allah upon him) were free to do so, and
any that wished to enter an alliance with the
Quraysh were free to do so.
By the contents of that treaty, the Muslims were
prevented from performing that year’s Hajj which was to
be the Prophet’s first Hajj.
That showed the value of
peace in Islam. But eventually, the treaty turned out to be
a victory for Islam as it became an unprecedented
catalyst for the propagation the religion.
CONCLUSION
If Prophet Muhammad (SAW) could go so far to ventilate
the atmosphere for peace why can’t the Muslims of
today follow suit?
I am a Muslim who believes strongly in the use of Hijab
by Muslim women. But considering the thousands of
lives so far lost in Nigeria through the abuse of Islamic
dress by some devilish elements one would think that
Nigerian Muslims should show understanding and co-
operate with the authorities on any reasonable measure
that will stem the spate of killings without disrupting
their mode of worship. Banning hijab is not the same as
banning the practice of Islam. Life is sacred. And to
worship, one needs to be alive. God bless Nigeria.

QUALITIES OF A GOOD HUSBAND
Our followers and readers especially Muslim sisters and wives have been requesting us to write to advice husbands too because they thought TARIQQ CONSULT NIGERIA write-up on marriage and relationship build-up focuses much on females. Therefore we introduce this for your benefit.
Kind read and share.

QUALITIES OF A GOOD HUSBAND
Husbands with goals to Nurture Happy Wives…
No one ever thinks about the
characteristics of a Muslim husband. It is always what a
wife should do for the husband...and the list never ends;
home management, tutoring, ferrying the kids, caring,
cooking, cleaning, washing, working even; you name it,
she’s doing it, so what about the brothers?
Our beloved Nabi SAW was not EVER lazy, so why the men
of this Ummah? It is quite interesting, so I thought I'd share
it with you!!!
What a Muslim husband should be like...
>Dress up for your wife, look clean and smell good. When
was the last time you went shopping for designer pyjamas?
Just like the husband wants his wife to look nice for him,
she also wants her husband to dress up for her too.
Remember that Nabi (SAW) would always start with Miswak
when returning home and always loved the sweetest
smells.
>Use the best names for your wife. Call your wife by the
most beloved names to her, and avoid using names that
hurt their feelings.
>Don't treat her like a fly. We never think about a fly in our
daily lives until it 'bugs' us. Similarly, a wife will do well all
day - which brings no attention from the husband - until
she does something to 'bug' him. Don't treat her like this;
recognize all the good that she does and focus on that.
>If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not
comment! This is one of the ways Nabi (SAW) used when he
would see something inappropriate from his wives (R.A).
It's a technique that few Muslim men have mastered.
>Smile at your wife whenever you see her and embrace her
often.
Smiling is Sadaqah and your wife is not exempt from the
Muslim Ummah. Imagine life with her constantly seeing you
smiling.
Remember also those Ahadith when Nabi (SAW) would kiss
his wife before leaving for Salaah, even when he was
fasting.
>Thank her for all that she does for you. Then, thank her
again! Take for example a dinner at your house. She makes
the food, cleans the home, and a dozen other tasks to
prepare before your return. And sometimes the only
acknowledgment she receives is that there needed to be
more salt in the soup. Don't let that be; thank her! Nabi
(SAW) use to help his wives with the housework, he mended
his own clothes, and patched his own footwear. Never
forget –what your wife does for you without any assistance
is actually out of her goodness, much of the tasks today’s
wife does is actually a favour to you Acknowledge it. Be
grateful.
>Ask her to write down the last ten things you did for her
that made her happy. Then go and do them again. It may be
hard to recognize what gives your wife pleasure. You don't
have to play a guessing game, ask her and work on
repeating those times in your life.
>Don't belittle her desires, comfort her, sometimes the men
may look down upon the requests of their wives. Nabi
(SAW) set the example for us in an incident when Safiyyah
(R.A) was crying because, as she said, he had put her on a
slow camel. He wiped her tears, comforted her and brought
her the camel.
>Be humorous, play games with your wife, and surprise her
once in a while with gifts. Nabi (SAW) encouraged the giving
of gifts.
Look at how would race with his wife Aisha (R.A) in the
desert.
When was the last time we did something like that?
>Don’t ever refer to your wife in the third person, & never in
a negative or mocking manner, even if you are right.
Remember, she is the mother of your children. She deserves
their respect & honour more than anyone else in the world.
Don’t promote & advertise yourself as better than her. Let
Allah be the judge, protect her dignity.
Woman was not made from man’s head to be superior over,
Nor his feet to be trampled on. She emerged from his side
to walk next to, from under the arm to be protected & from
near the heart to be loved & valued.
>Don’t feel intimidated by your woman’s strengths or
aptitude, admire her, & treat her as an equal as in the eyes
of Allah. Encourage her, support her & be there for her.
Allah has not granted superiority of one over the other, but
rather has assigned each different tasks according to the
uniqueness of His male and female creation. Nabi (SAW)
has said that if he would have commanded bowing to any
other aside from Allah, it would have been the wife to the
husband. This is not a matter to inflate your ego, but to
underline how much you need to do for her so as to have
earned this status. Remember your attitude towards her
would determine the depth of her love for you, her
appreciation, and the warmth of her behaviour towards you.
>Don’t be a “ruler”. Be a mediator; compassionate, loving,
understanding, compromising. This is what wins a
woman’s heart, nothing more, nothing less. Hear her cries
for acceptance, don’t complicate matters for her, make
things easier. Always remember the words of Allah's
Messenger (SAW): 'The best of you are those who treat their
families the best.
And I am the best amongst you to my family.' Try to be the
best!
>Every time you see your wife, don’t order her to do
something, Neither complain about anything.
She’ll begin to avoid you and your company like the plague!
Stop finding faults with her all the time, she’ll lose respect
for you. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Use
hikmah (tact), be diplomatic. and be considerate. Do things
to develop her love for you and strengthen the bond.
>NEVER EVER COMPARE YOUR WIFE TO YOUR MOTHER,
SISTER, SISTER-IN-LAW, OR ANY FEMALE, whose
supposedly “better” at something than she is. Don’t praise
other women so as to make her feel as if she “doesn’t-cut-
the-cloth”. This spells disaster for her self-confidence, and
stunts love between spouses. She’ll begin to feel inferior,
and in her desire to live up to your expectations, she’ll soon
feel taken for granted, because you’d never recognise her
attempts, but always find something else that’s not right or
needs to be bettered. Your wife will soon begin to despise
you, she’d feel like your servant, a wall-fly, because it’s
always “so hard to please you” and you’re “never satisfied”!
So please be cognisant of this habit!
>In conclusion: Everyone has
weaknesses, find agreeable ways of working around them
together. Never forget to make Dua to Allah - ta'ala to make
your marriage successful.
And Allah ta'ala knows best!!
Kind read and share.

QUALITIES OF A GOOD HUSBAND
Husbands with goals to Nurture Happy Wives…
No one ever thinks about the
characteristics of a Muslim husband. It is always what a
wife should do for the husband...and the list never ends;
home management, tutoring, ferrying the kids, caring,
cooking, cleaning, washing, working even; you name it,
she’s doing it, so what about the brothers?
Similarly, a wife will do well all
day - which brings no attention from the husband - until
she does something to 'bug' him. Don't treat her like this;
recognize all the good that she does and focus on that.
>If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not
comment! This is one of the ways Nabi (SAW) used when he

ANOTHER GUIDE FOR YOUNG MUSLIMS SEEKING RELATIONSHIP
ANOTHER GUIDE FOR YOUNG MISLIMS RELATIONSHIP
Yes I am Single_but_still_searchable.....
Single_but_seriously_hooked.....
Available_but_not_reachable ........
Single_but_engaged!
It's high time we stopped this! call them to notice and tell them to put full stop to it...... it's sadonic! and indeed pathetic! claiming I'm not ready but fixed....meaning please? I think it's an advanced level of courtship.
It's now very hard to see a sister 100% single but what you see is I'm hooked up without nikkah..
It's now very rampant today, when you ask many sisters hand in marriage their response will be have gotten someone, okay gotten someone fine but when should we be expecting your IV.....the next thing you will hear is; I'm in 200level now, hmmmn maybe after my
service but I will love to have my master before marriage...but you said you got someone?
Yeah!....Imagine! even amidst the so-called upright sisters, wondering how brothers wipe away their sweats only because they're in need of sisters. The funny thing is, statistically in this era of ours sisters are more than brothers even if two sisters would be for only one brother, we still have many sisters on ground and the secret of those we got fixed with, not to talk of the fitnah both sides would go through and punishment that awaits them.
Now tell me, who are those brothers we are hooking up with, for us to have just 5% left unfixed and for seeing 50% brothers seeking seriously for sisters (that shows you ain't the only one he's dating).
The 5% left ain't brothers taste anymore, you know why? they are too aged for them to cope with...I don't blame them "it was reported to have said that you should marry the one that will please you..i.e suit your majesty''.
More so, these aged sisters 95% of them was jilted by some brothers...how? because she was one of the ahlu-courtship....she was one of the sisters that got brother but not ready!...they actually kept courting till she went for service and thereafter the brother got tired
of old-girl and decided to opt-out and go for a growing-chap-girl!.
So it's very common seeing a graduate sisters nowadays''seriously searching'' and brothers available need a young chap.... now tell me is courship a blessing?
Please....let's follow the laid down protocol, Allaah alone knows who is meant for each and everyone of us and the best to become husby and wifey.... keeping him/her isn't the solution...do not force yourself to make things workout(marrying tipatipa) when Allaah has decreed someone else....Nikaah is broader than our expectations.
Please if you know you are not fully ready don't bother to make proposal and do not accept any and please ask his/her hand from his/her waliy to scape from fitnah! when you are okay with his/her deen aspect especially.
May Allaah grant us righteous spouses...Aameen

PRESIDENCY RESPONDED TO HIJAB BAN IN NIGERIA
STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE
NO HIJAB BAN
The Presidency has denied insinuations and rumors that the Buhari administration has banned Hijab, the Muslim women's dressing symbol of modesty.
Giving a clarification on the pronouncement of the President on Media Chat on Wednesday, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, said the speculations are unfounded, and that the Buhari administration would always respect the rights of Muslims to protect their modesty and allow religious freedom as it affects everyone.
Malam Shehu, while admitting that the Hijab is being abused by terrorists to carry out suicide attacks on innocent people, which violates the teachings of Islam, said the President would not take any decision on the issue without due consultation with all the stakeholders.
"Everything will be done to balance national security requirements with the rights and obligations of citizens under their religions as protected by the constitution," the statement said.
According to him, the increasing abuse of the Hijabby terrorists to perpetrate criminal mass murder and other atrocities is a reality, and that the government would address the security challenge in consultations with Muslim leaders with a view to finding a workable solution.

TAKING A STAND
TAKING A STAND
Surah Al-Imran (The House of Imran) Chapter 3: Verse 139
"So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For you must gain mastery if you are true in Faith."
When a Muslim loses his physical power and is conquered, one's consciousness (taqwa) and faith (iman) does not depart from him. If one remains a Believer, he or she looks upon his or her conqueror from a superior position. One remains certain that this is a temporary condition which will pass away and that faith will turn the tide from which there is no escape. Even if death is his portion, he will never bow his head.
It is the wisdom of God that belief remains independent of the glitter and glamour of worldly allurements, such as closeness to the ruler, favour from the government, popularity among the people or the satisfaction of desire. Indeed, the Believer does not borrow his or her values, concepts and standards from people, but takes them from the Sustainer of the people, God, and that is sufficient for the Believer.
The person who takes a stand against the direction of the society - its common mode, its values and standards, its ideas and concepts, its error and deviations - will find himself or herself a stranger, as well as helpless, unless his or her authority comes from a source which is more powerful than the people, more permanent than the earth, and nobler than life.
Let falsehood have power, let it have its drums and banners, and let it have its throngs and mobs; all this cannot change anything of the truth. He or she is a Believer, and whatever be the conditions and the situation, he or she cannot exchange error for the truth.
Indeed, God does not leave the Believer alone in the face of oppression to whimper under its weight, to suffer dejection and grief, but relieves him of all this with the message: "So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For you must gain mastery if you are true in Faith."
